“ Dickys - Southbourne Friday 6th June 2025 (5.30pm booking) Table for two. The Food was terrific. Service from Lynn excellent (as usual) and atmosphere great. The Pork special was sensational, loved it ! We really like the Spaten Beer on tap Thanks Julian & Amanda ”
“ We had the scotch egg and mussels to start , fantastic! For mains we had chicken ballotine and a salmon dish, again both very well done. Dessert we had cheesecake , again did not disappoint . The decor is lovely and the service was spot on. The restrooms were spotless. Can't fault our experience and would recommend this place to everyone. ”

“ Great evening for my wife and me. Busy on a Monday night is a good sign which, alongside the upmarket decor, made for a good atmosphere, plus friendly, fun and very attentive service. All desserts made on site, great selection of novel but reasonably priced drinks and good portion sizes. The two or three meal set menus are affordable and tasty. We really enjoyed ourselves and heartily recommend. Been again more recently too, 5 for a non-alcoholic can of beer is a little pricey though, but still great overall! ”

Excellent service from all staff, very attentive and the service was fast throughout. Good toilets, very nice tableware, very good atmosphere. Service charge not automatically added to bill which I think is decent of them. I would love to go back again and thoroughly recommend to all. Well done on a great restaurant ”
“ We were a large table booking of 11 for lunch, just a family meal following my mother's funeral. Paul & all other staff members were faultless in their attention to service. The food was nothing short of spectacular & I'm so pleased I chose this venue for our get together after such a very sad occasion. “ A lovely place to eat the food was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Lynne who served us. For my other wheelchair users it is just about ok with a ramp because there are two steps into the restaurant but there aren't any accessible toilets. When I booked I was informed regarding the access and the toilets so I did have a choice and so glad we went here and tried it. ”
“ One of the best spots in Southbourne for sure! On the pricy side so only visit for special occasions however it's so worth the price you pay! So much flavour in every bite of the food. It was faultless really. Had the Scotch Egg, Pork and chicken and all of the meat was cooked to perfection! ”
